Something occurred to me

Y'know, I've always had trouble coming up with names of RPG characters. Tonight a possible source of randon names recently came to me.

Porn spam.

Not just any porn spam, but in particular the ones that use randomly-generated names to try and make you think it's just a normal person. Just something that came to me.

Any thoughts?

I often go to baby names to find new character names...but I often look up names that are foreign so sometime when you're searching on google just type in welsh names /boys or welsh names /girls and you should get something...okay? It does work. Where the hell do you think I got Aiko from it's japanese meaning beloved.

I usually go with the baby name book as well, but something else to ponder... Ever notice that people usually pick rarely heard or uncommon names for their characters? You almost never see a Bill, Bob, or Dave. Not saying that there's anything wrong with that, just interesting, maybe to make the character seem special, or cos it's a break from the ordinary like gaming is supposed to be. Just something that made me think...

I actually bought one of those little pocket baby name books for rpg character names.

Personaly I've found the best names come from Final Fantasy Tactics random monsters and badies that you fight.
