It occurred to me today that it is in fact desirable to have the worst music possible playing in the background while you're having your teeth worked on at the dentist. Because the last thing you want to risk is a Clockwork Orange-style subversion of your musical tastes by associating getting your teeth drilled with your favorite song.


In related news, does anybody need a toothbrush? I'm more than capable of buying my own and replacing them on a regular basis, but you wouldn't know it from all the samples my dentist keeps forcing on me, and I don't know what to do with the damn things.
