Deep breaths, Chris, deep breaths...

All I will say on the election is this... the Republicans are right. Kerry is a flip-flopper. After all, didn't he promise to fight for every vote?

He couldn't wait 11 days to see how the voting would at least turn out?

I'm not going to whine and bitch about betrayal, about how the country isn't what it used to be, anything like that... Yes, the country's going to be continuing on a downward spiral. Yes, I do feel betrayed. But every bit of energy I waste bitching and moaning about it is a bit of energy I'm not putting towards taking care of school, or improving my own writing, or doing any one of a hundred more constructive things.

I will say this, though...

If, when the people in Ohio count the absentee and provisional ballots, it turns out that Kerry would have won the state? I'm just going to lose it.

If Kerry runs again in four years, I'm honestly not sure if I'm going to want to vote for him again.

That is all.

he was under great pressure to conceed.and the number of votes he was behind meant hed have to win like every single provisional ballot .I wish he had fought longer but it was a managamous gesture I thought.WHich of course was followed by georgie jr saying the next day "I have political capital.I intend to spend it.The people have spoken.I will push my agenda." so much for reaching toward the middle >_
