First off, I've just recently discovered that the DVD set for Season 5 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer is missing one vital thing... At the time they made the season finale of Season 5, they thought it was the series finale. So when it aired on TV it opened up with the usual "Previously on yadda yadda yadda..." thing like most TV shows do. But for this particular episode, it started with the original-episode introductory clips of Buffy, Giles, Xander, and Willow, and it proceeds into a pseudo-slideshow consisting of a couple of frames from every prior episode of the series. Well, now that we have a chance to see this in detail with a frame-by-frame button, they leave it out of the DVD. *grumble*
And while I'm here and annoyed... My TracFone cell phone hasn't been working for the past week or so. For some reason it had trouble accepting the codes for an airtime card, and after a few attempts it suddenly says "Prepaid service disabled" and now it's not working at all. TracFone tech support is being no help whatsoever-- If I contact them through the website, they claim they've fixed it from their end (which they haven't), and that if it still isn't working then to call the tech support phone number because I'll get better service that way. But I know from experience that the tech support line is constantly too busy for customers for the first two weeks or so after Christmas, but I try it anyways. Yup. Too busy, and they make sure to tell me I can get faster service through the website. So the web support says to go through the phone, and the phone support says to go through the web. Just friggin' great.
