Post about my trip
Mar. 13th, 2004 01:21 amI've been sitting here, staring at a mostly-empty text box for a while, just trying to figure out what to say. This is because I'm tired, and thus this probably won't be one of my quality posts.
I had fun with Tim when I spent the week with him, although the poor guy wasn't feeling well and so we didn't get to do everything we had planned. I spent part of a couple of days up at his college with him, sitting in on a couple of classes and hanging out in the computer lab for the classes I wouldn't be able to join in with (which is why my post earlier this week was possible).
Most of the week was spent watching movies, season 5 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and playing video games (well, me playing video games and Tim watching). We tried to set up a one-shot game of the Buffy RPG with some of Tim's friends, but sadly it didn't happen. But that's the way things go.
I definitely had fun, though, and I hated having to leave. It was still great getting out of the house for a few days, even if it wasn't for nearly long as either of us would have liked.
*sigh* Oh well...
Also, in other news, I stopped by the Book n Bean for dinner tonight, and looked over one of my stories, and I'm slightly torn on an issue... there's a scene in the story where a character does something pretty cool and sneaky... it's somewhat appropriate to the character, a funny scene all around, but I'm not sure if it's entirely appropriate to the mood of the scene. I'm debating whether or not to leave it in, or drop it, rewrite the scene, and put the cool moment in someplace else where it might work better.
At least there was plenty of yummy mail waiting for me when I got back... mmmm, new Imperial Herald... mmmm, Dragon Magazine...
