I can't believe it's Wednesday already...

First off, I'm not gonna say anything about the election. Anything that could be said about it has been said already by someone better equipped than myself. Anything I'd have to say about the matter is gonna sound like cynicism for the sake of cynicism... but trust me, anyone familiar with West Virginia politics would understand that.

"It's a Good Life" was on the Sci-Fi channel last night... man, that's a good episode...

I meant to do this earlier this week... but then, I always mean that. )

And that's the gaming write-up in a nutshell. Just to get some of this out, though, I'm thinking that I might do two different posts each week... one on my tabletop game, and one on just the LARP stuff. That way people who only want to read one or the other can.

And now, to take out the trash. Later.

Oh, something I meant to share in my previous post... apparently we've had a fresh surge of Furry drama on a mailing list I'm on (and not FurAffinity-related, either).

What? Furry drama? Shock and gasp, gasp and shock.

It's a list mostly oriented around arranging Fur meets in WV. One of the guys who isn't the creator of the group started pulling off gatherings of his own, but at times when the owner of the group couldn't make it. The owner threw a minor tantrum about how apparently it's just not possible for him to put together any successful meets and how he was just gonna have to split the group into two groups because I guess he only wants to be on a furmeet list for meets he can attend... I dunno. The other guy commented to him that part of the problem is that he tries to set up furmeets in ways that just don't work for everyone and not to make a big deal out of it. So then the owner threw him off the group so the other guy made his own.

I'm debating just quietly leaving the group as well so I don't have to deal with the fallout one way or the other (not that I was able to make it to more than one of the attempted furmeets anyhow, as my weekends are generally pretty busy).

I dunno. It's a minor thing; just something I felt like getting out there.

I'm gonna head out shortly to run some errands before the Promethean game tonight... but in the mean time, check out some thoughts a friend of mine has to share on the notion of atheism and morality.

Oh, and in unrelated news... I got the new Sam & Max game last night! Woo-hoo!
