Hm...

I know I'm going to be pretty busy until heading out to Origins in a couple of weeks, but I'm trying to work something out for myself...

The L5R tournament I'll be participating in will be a storyline tourney, and on the slimmest of slim chances that I win then for the story result I want will require my playing Mantis. I can handle playing Mantis, but I'm trying to work out whether or not I should try a standard deck archetype that's solid, or should I go with something somewhat unconventional that the other players won't be expecting?

Any thoughts?

Unless you can come up with something unconventional that will impress everyone between now and then I'd recomend the archetype. It's always easyer to play a solid archetype realy realy well.

Eh, you're right. Archetype it is.
