mythicfoxYeah, my grandmother found a phone book she had from 1973. Man, that was weird... it's only a hundred pages, including yellow pages and everything. That's pretty slim compared to the latest edition of the local phone book for roughly the same area, which is about... *checks* Oh. Only twice the size. Even still, though, taking into account how many folks these days are unlisted, that's definitely something.
Edit: Oh, heck. Now I feel like a dumbass. I just checked. The phone book I have on hand numbers the regular and yellow pages sections differently. So, in total, it actually has about 510. I'm a moron.
Man, I'm annoyed at something. I loaned a guy some of my CD's a couple years back and haven't been able to get them back. Well I managed to catch up with the guy, but he says he doesn't remember me loaning him any CD's. He said he probably left them at the place he was staying in when he'd moved out of there, but quite frankly, I don't think that lets him off the hook. He should have made steps to get them back to me. He's offered to pay me back for the CD's, so I've been looking up how much it would cost to replay them today. Man, that guy's getting off light... among the CD's was an imported 4-disc set that cost almost 90 bucks when it first game out, but including shipping it'll cost about 70-something to replace them all. He apparently runs a semi-local gaming store now (it's probably about a half-hour drive away), but I hope he doesn't expect to have me as a customer while he still owes me money.
My neck is absolutely killing me, too. This past Saturday I played an NPC with a tic of sorts and I think I messed up my neck in the process. It'll be fine, it just hurts like a mother.
Oh well. To cheer myself up, I filled out this meme... check it out.
