Overall a good day yesterday...

Yesterday I got to hang out with a fur who just recently moved back into the area... he goes by Ephraim on Taps, and the two of us just had a great time. We hung out in Morgantown from 2pm-ish to almost 10 (I didn't mind, and he hadn't noticed because he'd forgotten to set his watch forward due to Daylight Savings Time). We just hung out and talked about stuff, really. We've got a good bit in common.

Also, we discovered half by accident that one of the employees at a local gaming store called The Gateway has at least a mild interest in Furry artwork and comics. It was a pleasant surprise, I'll admit. I was wearing a shirt with a picture on it by Baron Engel, and the guy asked me who the artist was... I told him, and he said he hadn't heard the name. He said he thought it looked familiar, though, because he checks the Velan archive about every week or so.

It was interesting, to say the least... I finally track down a local fur, and on top of that I run into someone else who, while not a fur per se, is at least a fur fan.

The only real buzzkill for the day is that for reasons I'd rather not get into on a public post, the Hackmaster game is on hiatus for a while.
