Update on stuff
Nov. 20th, 2003 02:21 amDidn't have to attend English class-- due to a reduction in attendance, the teacher's trying for handling basic reading assignments through email. Sure, I'm not a huge fan of her teaching style (although lately she's been doing less of the 'find a partner to discuss the reading' and more of the 'lets all have a big group discussion about it' thing), but she's still pretty cool.
However, I did have my Speech class. We had to turn in our outlines for our persuasive speeches. I know last time I talked about doing either gay marriage or gun control as my topic. Well, I thought about it and kinda wussed out. I just didn't feel comfortable talking about gay marriage in front of the class, and while I have my opinions about gun control I don't think I could make a full-out speech about it. So I went with door number 3... how the music industry has made the file-swapping problem even worse. Pretty simple and something I can talk about.
