Well, one more week until the siege. Tonight's Theatre of Darkness turnout was kinda crappy, since it was Valentine's Day and all (which I will talk about later). As a result, it was kind of a slow night. It did have its moments, though.

A good chunk of the night was spent strategizing for next week's upcoming siege of Charleston. However, that doesn't mean that there wasn't the fair amount of political stuff to deal with... apparently one of the city's Tzimisce had a bit of a sloppy feeding experience... rather than kill him outright, like they did with some folks last week, he got a trial this week to determine what to do with him. It was ruled that he isn't to be killed outright, but what to do with him would be determined based on his actions in the upcoming siege.

After the trial, the preparations got fully underway. Since neither my ductus nor the fourth member of our pack was present, Clive and Derek (Sean's and my characters, respectively) wound up hanging out with the pack we'll be working with. We did show some concern, though, after hearing their plan for dealing with the Prince of Charleston... everybody grabs a pair of stakes and just goes after him. Sean and I prefer Delta's plan of using our more subtle Disciplines to throw the Prince off-balance while the more combat-oriented folks deal with him directly.

At some point, one of the other packs in preparation had an incident... a sparring accident caused the pack's Brujah to frenzy. Shots were fired, which means that ICly the local Sabbat's going to have to handle their meetings through a different location since we've already had a problem with hunters (at least one of them an FBI agent) without having to have revealed to them that something's definitely going on there. After a big confrontation between the folks currently controlling the city? A certain Brujah is without a pack and his Sabbat status is in question. It was a really intense scene.

Shortly after that the game was over for the night. Sean's character managed to accomplish a good bit, but unless anyone actually wants to hear about it I won't take up too much space with it.

In other news, I finally managed to pick up a copy of Apocalypse today. I'd been putting off ordering it directly from White-Wolf because I wanted to make sure my FLGS's had a chance to get it in before resorting to other methods.

And now, for the obvious... I know it's late, but I just hope everyone had a pleasant Valentine's Day (or reasonably facsimile thereof). Actually, there isn't a whole lot I can say on it beyond that, now that I think about it, although I do want to somewhat-belatedly say Happy Valentine's Day to a special someone (you know who you are).

And, again, a few hours late, technically, but...
