Something hit me on the way home
Apr. 13th, 2004 10:48 pmNo, no, nothing physical. I'm honestly not sure what caused it, but I was hit with a weird wave of inspiration while I got in the car to go home. Mostly Mage-related stuff, but I've punched it up elsewhere so I don't forget it.
Also, up at the college tomorrow, they're having a gathering to, I guess, celebrate the release of the latest issue of the Whetstone (the same one that I'm having a story printed in). I have to admit, though, I'm still debating whether or not I'll be attending. Odds are it'll be like one of my Book n Bean trips, except without the coffee. Or the writing. Or the tolerable music. I hate to sound antisocial, but I really can't stand most of the people I interact with up at the college. A lot of them just rub me the wrong way. Also, as much as a jerk as this makes me seem, tomorrow's when they finally start showing new episodes of Angel and Smallville (although I can video tape those).
I'll probably show up and just hang out for a little while. I doubt I'll stay the whole two hours.
In other news, my eye seems to be pretty much cleared up. There's still a very mild amount of swelling on my eyelid, but other than that I'm just fine.
