Bits 'n pieces from this week
Jun. 5th, 2004 12:13 amI haven't been up to a whole lot. I've made a couple of in-character posts over at the Night Lair webpage, under my character name (Ken Hamlin).
Also, I talked to my friend Steve earlier this week, told him a bit about the LARPs I attend. I mentioned how the MET rules work, more or less, and while he isn't sure he could handle role-playing without dice he's mildly interested. I'm thinking of typing up a little email explaining the very basics of the Garou and the Mages (and I'll probably mention a bit about Mummies), since I figure he'd get more out of Night Lair than ToD. Although I might explain the basics about Vampire to him. Not sure, though. He has expressed some interest in Mage but I worry it might be too complicated for him.
And by 'too complicated,' I don't mean that he's not up to the challenge of understanding it. I'm just concerned he might think it's more trouble than it's worth.
Also, I hung out at the Book n Bean for a bit tonight. The weather was crappy and the place was absolutely dead, so they closed up a little early, but I still got a fair bit of writing in. Which is always a good thing. Well, it was more editing than writing. But you get the idea.
Fortunately, as I was writing this, my sinus headache has faded! Yay!
