My brain hurts

It's mostly from a sinus headache that just won't go away. Part of it is from running into the moron known as Hambone while at the Book n Bean earlier and while at the premiere of Spider-Man 2 (GO SEE THAT MOVIE!!!!!!). Part of it is from John at Night Lair, who is a complete and total moron.

Now, John's a nice guy. He's an idiot, but a nice guy. Here is an example of his idiocy... at the Night Lair message board, Head ST Eric posted asking about how the New World of Darkness game went, wanting the skinny on the rules and such. And then John posted this...

i herd they dont use rock sisccor paper any more its based on numbers, from what i herd they basically took the table top version and made it so you had to use numbers instead of rock,sisccor,paper, and from what i herd it sucks (the system not the game it self thou), i also herd they have like 6 clans and like 6,000 blood lines and you pick clan, then blood line

I swear, that's a Cut & Paste; spelling, punctuation, that's his honest-to-goodness post. It took all of my self-restraint to keep from tapping into my Inner Stew and making him explode through sheer force of will. I did clear up a few things, though. I pointed out that that's how tabletop World of Darkness, new and old, works. I mentioned that rock-paper-scissors is only generally used in LARPs, and that 'using numbers' is the way that the game is supposed to be run in tabletop. Then I recommended that he look at a tabletop RPG book sometime, or at least a tabletop RPG sheet.

I came very close to losing my control and crossing a line-- or at least splattering blood across it.

Anyhow, I have a major sinus headache raging through my skull. I'll just have to fill you all in on the rest of Origins tomorrow.
