A Cut and Paste
Oct. 30th, 2004 06:17 amHere's a question from my LARP write-ups, concerning Night Lair. Since I know a lot of folks don't read those and I'd like to have an opinion from folks in general, here it is:
-----
Actually, since there are more than a few WoD players who read my journal, I have a question to ask since I'm sure they all know about Mage better than I do. There was a Hermetic at the game who scanned me, saw what I was, and tried to convince me that I should more or less trust him because apparently the Order of Hermes is 'on good terms with the spirits.' Now, I'm pretty sure that the Mage practice of 'suck the caerns dry' isn't as common as it once was, for various reasons, but that's just a new one on me. As I'm not a fan of letting books dictate how my characters think and feel like there's a formula to it, but is there really anything in canon to indicate that the Garou even care about the difference between the Mage Traditions beyond 'Dreamspeaker/Verbena/Other?' Or was the Hermetic just confused (possibly in-character)?
