Yikes... Team Venture, still in costume after having gotten home from Rocky Horror Picture Show... now that's scary.

Well, I just turned in my Argumentative Paper for my English class. I've got a good feeling about it; the teacher, as I mentioned before, only had very few criticisms about it. If anyone wants, I might put it somewhere and put a link up here (as it's 11 pages long, including a works cited page, I'm certainly not going to be posting it here).

In other news, this past Sunday I attended the baptism of Cousin Jimmy's adopted daughter, Zoe. She's originally from the country of Belarus, and she's still an infant (although I admittedly don't know her exact age, and haven't thought to ask). The ceremony took about a half-hour or so, most of it involving Zoe constantly crying the entire time up until the point where the priest finished. I'm not going to deny, there are times like that when I really think to myself that I'm not sure if I ever want kids as I doubt I'd have the patience.

At least being treated to lunch at Muriale's afterwards made it worth it. Y'see, there's an unwritten law that whenever you get a bunch of Italians together for a gathering-- particularly a religious gathering-- then at some point where will be a mass pilgrimage to a local restaurant as part of the celebration. I had some of the best raviolis I've had in years, and that place has fantastic bread.

*glances up from the computer for a brief moment at someone across the computer lab* Fucking hell, dude, keep your shirt pulled down. I'm not in fantastic shape, I'll admit, but if you can't keep your shirt tucked in over the gallons of flab you have hanging over your jeans then get a bigger fucking shirt. Or a better belt. Either way, you're being fucking disgusting. *sighs and turns his attention back to the computer*

In other news, I've been loving the previews I've been reading for Werewolf: The Forsaken and the stuff I've been hearing from GenCon SoCal certainly isn't hurting. I was sold on the book before, but I'm feeling even better and better about it. My friend Sean, who was having some pretty extreme negative knee-jerk reactions about some of the early previews, is starting to be sold on the game, and that's something right there. But the more I read, the more I friggin' love it. All of it. I'm not sure if I can handle waiting until an official demo game is posted on the site.

Anyhow, I think that's all the news that's fit to type for the moment. I'll do my LARP updates a little later tonight, most likely. But for now, I'm strongly debating a trip to the Book n Bean.
