Well, shit...

Looks like my question of "Origins or GenCon" has been answered for me. Origins and Anthrocon are on the same weekend this year. And fact of the matter is, I'd rather go to Anthrocon.

I'll get over it, as it does allow me to redistribute funds towards a GenCon trip this year (Changeling! Woot!), but I just wish I'd known this before I'd purchased my Origins badge and successfully got a hotel reservation that isn't at the Columbus about 6-7 blocks away. Of course, I'm going to try and find out if it's possible to just transfer my Crowne Plaza reservation to someone who will need it more than I will rather than just cancel it. If I can, is there anyone who's going to be there that will definitely need it?
