I love this one. On a vaguely-related note, I actually shoot pool this way and it works just fine for me. Although apparently pointing this out in the official xkcd LiveJournal makes me a 'furfag.' I love the internet, and it loves me back.
I got a decent bit of writing done at the Book n Bean tonight. Working on the new Tales of Journey's End story, which I'm hoping to get finished by this weekend. I'm going out of town Friday and I won't be back until next Thursday (which does mean that next week I won't be running Promethean, since I'll be getting back too late to run the game not even counting being unable to have any sort of prep time). If I can't get it done before I leave (likely, but I'm at least gonna give it a shot), it'll definitely be done by the time I get back.
Lately I've made something of a minor token attempt to reconnect with furs on IRC, back where I started hanging out with folks in the fandom. When faced with a choice between Furnet (which believes in policing its own, supposedly to excess) and Anthrochat (which believes that unless you're fucking up the network itself there's no moderation beyond at the channel level), I decided to go with Anthrochat to start lurking. And within two or three nights, I was reminded why sometimes actually having functioning admins on an IRC network can be a good thing.
On an unrelated note, I keep trying to take this "ultimate test to rule them all" thing and for some reason it won't work for me. When I try to move on to the third page it just goes blank. Weird. Maybe it's sort of reaction to/from my new firewall.
Also, I'd probably be a little more impressed with Dave Matthews being on House if Matthews was still something of a celebrity. I'm sorry, but his music went down the toilet the moment the lyrics began drifting towards coherence. His performance was pretty decent for someone who only seems to dabble in acting, I just think making a big deal about his appearance was just more than a little obnoxious. Whether it's more or less obnoxious than when any shows does it, I'm really not qualified to say. So let's move on.
