Gencon report, supplemental
Aug. 22nd, 2007 05:36 amOkay, first off, there was a photo I'd forgotten to upload before, which I'm including now. For those who wouldn't recognize it, this is a replica of the helmet and tetsubo of Hida Kisada put together by Salman Barakat (2004 World Champion).

Next, here's a list of the books I picked up at Gencon. Note that this list doesn't count cards, toys, giant foam fingers, or anything like that; just books. If it seems like it's a lot, keep in mind that a month and a half ago the only gaming book store for an hour and a half closed down so some of this is making up for the lack of books in the area.
Books from White Wolf:
Changeling: The Lost (one copy for me, one copy for Sean)
Changeling Storyteller's Screen
Bloodlines: The Chosen
Damnation City
WoD: Urban Legends
WoD: Reliquary
WoD: Asylum
(I briefly considered picking up Mysterium and one or two of the Exalted books, but I'm holding off on stuff that I don't know if I'm going to be using any time soon.)
L5R RPG books from Alderac:
Art of the Duel
Emerald Empire: The Legend of the Five Rings Companion
Xcrawl books from Goodman Games:
Coney Island Crawl
Welcome to Necromerica 4702
Las Vegas Crawl
Dungeonbattle Brooklyn (which only cost $2 but they actually threw it in for free, but then I'd already purchased the PDF out of sheer curiosity last month)
Other stuff:
Rising, a 'Live Action Survival Horror' game
Kitsunemori, a d20 setting based on Japanese mythology by Dog Soul Games, from their Folkloric series
And, because I really owe you guys one...
( The Promethean session from a couple of weeks ago )
And that's it, for now. I'll have more to report later.
