Well, I've had a pretty nice evening. Had some fantastic homemade tomato soup at the Book n Bean while I got some writing done. I got home and took advantage of a beautiful night to write out on the back patio and made some great progress. Now I'm in a good spot to finally get around to finishing up the latest Tales of Journey's End story. I'm just hammering out the ending and coming up with a better name, and that one will be finished. Then I can begin work on rewriting Three Men.
Also, my weekly schedule's getting shifted around a bit. Because of difficulties with arranging the Promethean game's sessions, I'm putting it on hiatus until the beginning of January so that way I'm not spending a lot of time and energy planning sessions that wind up not happening. Thus, with Thursdays free for the moment, we're talking about just making Thursday our weekly "Get together and play L5R for a while" week up in Morgantown.
And yes, I'm fully aware that putting any game on hiatus is running the risk of losing it altogether, but I think things have gotten to the point where the only thing that can really save the chronicle anyhow is a break followed by a fresh start. I might run a one-shot between now and then, though, but I'm not sure of what beyond the notion of wanting to run something to keep in practice.
