Soon, now, soon...
Jan. 3rd, 2008 12:01 amHung out with
mafiabass for the first time in a while yesterday. Finally got to try out Rock Band, as he'd gotten it for Christmas.
Played some L5R with Shomo earlier, and although my deck performed beautifully, some topdecking on his part cost me the game. *grumble grumble* I'm debating calling the deck "Hannibal," because when the deck does what it's supposed to do, I feel the urge to light a cigar and say "I love it when a plan comes together."
Because of a few difficulties, the return to Promethean is going to take another week or so. However, it does give me time to catch up and post a fuckton of entries to the
ptc_playtest community since apparently I haven't been able to keep up with regular updates there in several months. Yikes.
In unrelated news, this past week I went to go see National Treasure: Book of Secrets. I enjoyed it for what it is: a fun little adventure flick. My only real complaint about it is that it seems at times the characters and the movie are headed in slightly different directions, like the film forgot that what Ben really wants to do is clear his ancestor's name. It's one of those ones where you can really see where some potentially-important scenes were cut from the movie for running time.
Anyhow, I'll get back to you folks later, I hope you all had a pleasant and safe New Year's Eve.
