First off, for those of you who are wondering, I'm recovering and coping, for the most part.

In other news, I'm currently waiting to hear back from a couple of publishers regarding some stories I've sent out. I just sent out an anthology submission for a superhero romance story and I've also got some furry fiction that I'm waiting to hear back on (but I don't expect to hear back on that very soon, as the deadline for submitting that is today or tomorrow so I know it'll be a while).

In other news, on sort of a whim I was looking at some Exalted stuff recently and described to cama_sotz a mixed-game setup I randomly spun off the top of my head. I mentioned, in passing, that I'd rather play this particular setup than run it. He responded with:

"No one would rather run Exalted than play it. Telling stories in the Exalted setting is awesome. Navigating the bullshit rules and errata is... well, bullshit."
