Updates, both story and personal
Apr. 10th, 2013 07:19 pmIf I'd realized how long it had been since my last update I'd posted something earlier than this.
So, updates. Currently waist-deep in tax stuff, mostly because I'm finally wrapping up the financial crap on my mother's estate.
Writing's been on and off although I think with the weather finally improving I'll be able to write outside a little more, which always helps. Speaking of which, I've got some more 'Child of the Machine' for you guys here a little further down. The reason it's been so long on that has been because I started the next leg of the writing with a couple of short scenes that left off on good spots but seemed a little sparse for an update. And the next chunk after that was kind of long.
Also, speaking of writing, I've been kicking around some ideas to maybe get back into some anthro-oriented fiction, as it's been a while since I've written anything in that vein. I've had bit of inspiration in that regard but I'm touching on that only lightly to keep from heaping more personal writing projects on myself. (This is what happens when I don't have anything big to focus on.) So I'm just occasionally brainstorming and scribbling down notes and if anything comes of it at all it'll be after 'Child of the Machine' is finished.
And with that, here we go! More 'Child of the Machine' behind the cut.
