First off, Bruce Baugh has a link to his other weblog, which has an excellant essay I think everyone should read.

Tonight I hung out at Eben's house for a little bit. He got an X-Box recently (poor bastard ;) ) and we rented GTA: Vice City to see if there were any inherent differences. Hell of a graphics overhaul, and I learned that the X-Box can copy CD's and play those copies through GTA's radio system. That said, by the time I had to go... if I had to hear that first song on Eben's Hoobastank CD one more time, I'd have to bite someone's face off. I figure Eben'll probably read this at some point, and if he does I just want to stress that it's nothing personal. But for some reason hearing Hoobastank more than once in a short period of time brings in me an urge to kill normally reserved for door-to-door religious recruiters and having to GM for powergaming twinks.

You can import MP3s into the PC version of Vice City as well, and download mods for it (new cars, skins for Tommy, etc.)
Overall, the PC version is the best one.

I don't mind it in small doses. I just really don't feel like hearing the same two or three Hoobastank songs over... and over... and over... and over.
