Before I get to the story, I'd like to share this: Dave Carroll has posted the third part of his "United Breaks Guitars" song/video trilogy.

It's worth noting that as of this week, I've hit the end of the material that my beta readers got a chance to see. So after this week, it'll be all new material.
While I'm revising and posting the rest of the story after this, I'll be sorely tempted to include a reference here and there to changes I made, just to test the beta readers and see if they've just been skimming this so far or reading it anew. ;)
