Game schedule issues
Mar. 8th, 2011 10:49 amWell, Hunter's getting ready to wrap up and I'm trying to sort out a schedule to run Pathfinder afterwards. It's difficult, though, because my players have awkward schedules. With the group as-is, I might have to settle for really short sessions (although if that's the case, then I'll probably try for weekly instead of bi-weekly like I'd initially intended).
I've got six players (the largest group I'll consider running for)0. We pretty much have to run on the weekends, but there are issues regardless of which day I run.
Unless we figure something out, we might have to just settle for starting a little earlier on Sunday and dealing with a guy showing up late. Either that or just deal with three-hour sessions.
But, y'know, we'll sort it out. Random suggestions are appreciated, though.
0-- However, I fully expect one of the players to flake out early so the size of the group probably won't be an issue. Another player has an awkward work schedule so he can't guarantee being able to make it to every session anyways, but as long as I've got plenty of warning and it's a good reason I can deal with that.
1-- One of them being the aforementioned flake.
2-- Although that said, if Flakey McFlakerson flakes out on us and I ask him not to come back, I could probably deal with only one person having to leave early.

- Friday: One of my players can't make it until about 8, on average. Two of my other players1 have to leave somewhere around 11 because they work late shifts. If I were comfortable running after a third of the group has had to take off2, we could keep going until about 2am if we wanted.
- Saturday: The guy who can't make it until about 8 on Fridays also can't make it until about 8 on Saturdays, possibly later. One of the players who has to leave early on Fridays can't make it at all, and even if he could I'm pretty sure he'd have to leave at about 11 anyways. But again, otherwise, we could go until pretty late.
- Sunday: The guy who normally can't make it until 8 almost certainly won't be able to make it before 9. But we'd have to end game right at about 12.
