Well, that's done
Mar. 12th, 2011 05:14 amWrapped up the Hunter LARP earlier this night. The session could have gone a little smoother but there wasn't any shouting, nobody stomped off, and I didn't go home planning to write a manifesto about how much I hate LARPers.
So, y'know, I count that as a success. And really, I'm looking forward to running something else for a while.
It's a little weird, though. For the first time in I'm honestly not sure how many years there isn't anyone running or planning a LARP (unless you count the 'smack each other in the face with our intricately-crafted foam metaphorical foam penises' boffer LARP). But I'm not as sad about that as I thought I'd be. Maybe it's because I ended the last one (for now). But I like to think that doesn't make me the survivor as much as the winner.
